WORKING TAX ROLL DATA AVAILABLE FOR DOWNLOAD

The Clay County Property Appraiser uses ArcGIS software to create maps as a tool to ensure accuracy in the generation of a tax roll. It is our desire to make the resulting data available to the public for general use, free of charge and easily obtained. This download page, depending on it's use and the needs of our citizens, may expand to include additional shape files. They are compacted into a .zip format to make the download faster.

If you need a shape file that you do not see on our site, please check with the Clay County Board of County Commissioner’s website for additional selections.

This download page, depending on it's use and the needs of our citizens, may expand to include additional files. They are compacted in a winzip format, which is a downloadable program. If you do not have winzip, you can click the button below to download it from their website. Another trick to downloading, if you should still have difficulty, is to right-click on the download file and select "Save Target As".

Subdivision Lists - Download Now
This data set includes all of the subdivisions within Clay County that have been entered into our system. It is in a Microsoft Excel spreadsheet with worksheets for each year, beginning with 1995. There is also another document included that is in a .txt format (viewable using Notepad. The files must be extracted to view correctly.

Ownership Data for the Current Roll Year - Download Now
As with the sales data, we will make every attempt to update these files on a regular basis, roughly, every two to three weeks as the website is updated in regards to the Property Search page. For those who normally pay $35.00 per data request, these are the same files, albiet with additional information that you may not normally request, but there is no such thing as too much information. This set contains the following information:

* MS Access database file
* gis1 (ownership info)
* gis2 (land info)
* gis3 (building info)
* gis1 Record Layout.xls
* gis2 Record Layout.txt
* gis3 Record Layout.txt
* README.txt


The gis1 file is too large to open in Excel, so we have imported it, as well as the other two gis files, into the MS Access 2000 database. If you do not own a copy of MS Access, this data can be imported into any other database program that can import .csv files. This ought to save a lot of time, money and frustration for you, the user, as it will now be available whenever you want it! This file used to contain a lot of excel tables that you may not have needed, so these have been separated out and placed into their own folder. This is a lot of data that doesn't take too long to download and is fairly user friendly.

RECENT FORECLOSURE LISTINGS - Download Now

All of the parcels contained in this list are the result of acquisition through a "Certificate of Title" one year from the present date. A "Certificate of Title" is a document stating title or ownership of a property is being confirmed by court order.

This data is being generated as a convenience and a service to those individuals who have an interest in this information and is not a certification of a complete and current parcel status.

TRAVERSE FILES (CAMBT)

The traverse files contain all of the line work that is used to define the external boundaries of an improvement (barn, house, shed, etc.). The traverses begin at the uppermost right of the perimeter of the building and follows around to the point of beginning.

SUBAREAS (CAMBS)

The sub-area files break the areas up between the 'BASE' and areas of the home that would be taken into consideration for assessment purposes. These would include screened in porches, concrete patios, and any other additions.
